The main map in Enlighten Enterprise is surrounded by panels and toolbars.
The left panel may appear collapsed. Click the caret on any panel or dialog to expand it.
Both the left and right panels have tabs along the bottom, each containing a different set of functionality. In the left panel, these include Network Trace and the Onboarding tab, among others. There’s also a general search, where you can add values specific to your organization.
The top panel is the data grid. Expand it, then click on data in the map or set an active layer to see the related records.
Each panel has its own set of controls, such as undocking, and the available options vary by panel. Every panel includes a question mark icon for help.
The right panel has multiple tabs along the bottom. The first tab is Workspace and Layers. The Bookmarks tab lets you save new bookmarks and recall saved ones.
The bottom panel shows information such as coordinates and map scale, along with some additional functionality.
The standard toolbar runs along the top of the screen. Hover over the icons to see a tooltip explaining what they do.
Try It Yourself #
- Open the right panel, Workspaces & Layers, if not already expanded.
- Take note of the tabs and icons available at the bottom of the panel.
- Collapse the right panel using the caret at the top right.
